What could be better then having your beloved pet around for one of the most special days of your life? We are so thankful for Chuck and his team as they helped us arrange for our two cocker spaniels to be present during our wedding day photo session.

Stella and Hailey were picked up from our home and safely transported to our wedding location just as the ceremony ended. This was perfectly timed to include the pups in our family portraits. We did not want to burden our guests with handling the dogs that day and called on a very professional and loving team to help. After the photos, the dogs were taken back home for a cookie and a nap. With Daytime Dogs and Friends, were able to capture some of the most special images of our pups on that day. If you ever considered having your pet present at an important event, but aren't able to tend to them the whole time, I recommend you consider their help to make it possible. They are absolutely wonderful to work with!!

I had the terrible task of telling Brooke that we were being transferred back to Houston, TX. So, I need to let you know as well. As I have said before, I don't know what I would have done without you all. Especially Brooke! As happy as we are to go back to Houston, I never imagined that it would be this hard and emotional leaving Brooke and your company behind. I feel as if I am leaving one of my children behind. There hasn't been a day since we found out that we were going back to Texas that we haven't shed tears.

I am honored for you to use my comments. It is so important for others out there to know what Daytime Dogs and Friends is all about, and most importantly what Brooke is all about. Her compassion for her clients is remarkable. She is more intuned to her clients than most owners are. I have had animals all my life and have never come across anyone like Brooke. I have always said that in all my travels with work, I am sent to areas for a reason and not just a paycheck. My journey to Florida has brought more to me than any paycheck could. I was brought to Brooke and Daytime Dogs and Friends. It seems that you are just as blessed to have such an amazing detail oriented, business minded young lady to be a part of Daytime Dogs and Friends.  Chuck, maybe you should think about changing the name to Daytime Dogs and Family! We had never used a pet-sitting service prior to this. We have always either had someone we know watch our dogs, or boarded them. But our 3 dogs are getting older (7, 8 and 12), and they don't seem to bounce back from boarding as well as they used to, so we decided to give this a try.

First, we needed someone to stay with our dogs for the week of Christmas, and we didn't start looking until November (not too smart). But we got really lucky that Daytime Dogs had availability that week. Chuck, the owner, as well as Heather, who would be staying with the dogs, came out to meet us and the dogs to make sure it would be a good match and that we were comfortable with them. We liked them both so we made the reservation from Dec 22-30th, with Heather staying each night from 7pm to 7am (we had a neighbor come over to let the dogs out during the day).

Heather was willing to send us texts, pictures, emails or whatever we might have wanted to confirm that our dogs were OK. We were busy where we were, so we didn't ask for frequent updates, but she did respond immediately to any text I sent, even when she wasn't at our house.

Since we were obviously gone the whole time, I can't say what happened during the stay, but what was important to us is that the dogs seemed happy and calm when we got home. Lately when we've gotten them from boarding they've been wound up and it has taken days to get them back on their schedule, but it sure seems that Heather kept them to their normal routine and they never missed a beat.   It was a little odd to have someone we didn't know stay at our house, as I'm sure it's strange for them to stay in a stranger's house, but it seems to have worked out really well and we will definitely use their services in the future. They also do more routine dog-sitting tasks like coming by to take them for a walk if we are stuck late at work, or taking them for outings, so we will be trying that as well.  We really appreciate the great service that Daytime Dogs provided, and thank Heather for taking such good care of our dogs.

For so many years we simply would not take vacations, weekend get-a-ways or even day trips because we didn't want to leave our "kids" alone for too long at any given time. Being pet parents to Logan, our recent shelter rescue, and four cat kids we want the best for each one. You provide us with the peace of mind to venture beyond Gainesville! We've been very happy to have Chuck Siegel of Daytime Dogs and Friends helping us out with our two crazy little poodles since August 2009. The most important things for us is that he has been very reliable and very accommodating to us with our unpredictable work and travel schedules. We first asked Chuck to help us when one of our dogs was still a puppy. She needed lots of attention during the day that we could not provide ourselves. So we asked Chuck to come to our house (while we're both at work) for a lunchtime feeding, taking care of "business," and a little fun and games. It has worked out great! Chuck has always said yes to every request, even sometimes at the last minute. This has been a HUGE help! We highly recommend that you talk to Chuck about your pet needs.
